National Postal Forum 2024 Heads to Indianapolis
Whether you’ve already signed up or are waiting until the last minute, this year’s National Postal Forum is a can’t miss event. Centrally located in Indianapolis, Indiana, organizers expect more than 4,000 attendees from across this great nation.
What Is the NPF?
The most dynamic event in the mailing and shipping industry, the National Postal Forum is an annual gathering of postal professionals, mail experts, and USPS representatives.
As always, attendees can expect an all-star cast of speakers and thought leaders, a significant expo featuring the latest tech, and some of the best networking opportunities in the postal events space.
Nearly every spring for more than a half century, this event has brought together postal customers and USPS leadership, helping to facilitate communication and create a more responsive and efficient mail communications system. And this year’s event titled Connecting At The Crossroads will take place in Indianapolis June 2-5, 2024.
Why Should You Attend?
The obvious answer? To attend our head of postal affairs’ presentation and meet our team (which you can learn about below). But really, it’s a four-day event is filled with some exciting events—some nearly as exciting as getting the chance to meet us. In fact, the NPF says it best,
“This is the only event that brings together all senior level USPS executives, leaders of the mailing and shipping industry as well as the industry’s major suppliers and partners. […] The NPF is the ideal way to stay in sync with all the advances and trends that affect the rapidly progressing and changing mailing and shipping industry.”
Here are just a few more reasons to start planning your trip to Indianapolis:
Keynote Address Featuring 75th Postmaster General of the United States: Understand the future of mail as Postmaster General Louis DeJoy offers a deeper look at the Delivering for America Plan.
Education Tracks Unique to You: Whatever your industry or job title, the NPF has a multitude of relevant courses. From exclusive USPS Leadership Insight sessions to six different educational tracks, the curriculum is packed with learning opportunities.
Networking Galore: See who’s shaping the future of mailing and shipping. Both the NPF Expo and the many, many networking events will provide you the opportunity to discuss your mailing future with those who have seen and done it all.
Where Might You Find Us? How Might We Help? Sepire Proud Sponsor of NPF 2024
With this year’s NPF just a short three-hour drive from our headquarters and production facility, we’re thrilled to sponsor this event and send a few of our best to enjoy some Hoosier hospitality. Here are just a few ways you can connect with Sepire at this exciting event.
Workshop: Leanne Herman to Present on Mailpiece Design and Its Impacts
There are a lot of ways to be creative and create memorable, meaningful connections through direct mail. But if you happen to miss something in the Domestic Mailing Manual or fail to prepare a Mailpiece in accordance with Automation requirements, things can quickly get out of hand.
Design rules and mailing requirements are key to preparing and presenting automation compatible mail to the USPS.
If you’re wondering how mail design, preparation, and presentation could affect your postage rates and delivery windows, you’re not going to want to miss Sepire’s Head of Postal Affairs Leanne Herman’s workshop.
And if you plan to attend, don’t forget to pack your mailpieces for review.
Part of the larger track titled Operations Efficiency from Mailing Preparation to Delivery, attendees have the opportunity not only to learn and ask questions—but to get real, actionable feedback on mailpiece design from a postal expert’s perspective.
Meet Sepire’s Team
Though we might not have a booth, we’re making our presence known. From networking events and roundtables to luncheons and meetups, two of our subject matter experts will be in attendance ready to learn about your goals and discuss the evolution of mail.
