Sepire to Sponsor Greater Illinois PCC Day September 25, 2024
At Sepire, we’re committed to helping our clients make meaningful connections through mail. We also believe in helping them get more value from it.
From our educational webinars to the work done every day by our team, we put in the effort to combine mail’s effectiveness with postal savings. So, when we had the opportunity to sponsor a regional event built to help mailers get more from their relationships with the USPS, we were thrilled to take advantage of it.
And that’s why we’re proud to announce that we’re sponsoring “Chicagoland’s largest mailing forum of the year.”
Chock full of networking opportunities, breakfast, brunch, and keynotes, this event should be an exciting time for all those who attend.
We can’t wait to be a part of it—and we’d love to see you there.
Note: If you already know what PCCs are and are excited to see what this year’s event has in store, scroll to the bottom or click here to register. If not, here’s a not-so-brief primer.

The Greater Illinois Postal Consumer Council (GIPCC) is a collaboration between the three major Postal Consumer Councils in Chicago and surrounding areas: Chicago Postal Consumer Council, Northern Illinois Postal Consumer Council, and South Suburban Postal Consumer Council.
And once a year, they come together during something called PCC Week to host
Whoa There, Slow Down. What Does All This Mean?
For those unfamiliar, let’s take a step back. After all, not everyone deals in the Postal Affairs world every day.
What Is a Postal Consumer Council (PCC)?
Postal Consumer Councils are USPS-Sponsored organizations whose mission it is to…
Promote, support, and foster close working relationships between the U.S. Postal Service and business mailers.
Facilitate information sharing and idea exchange with business mailers about Postal Service products, programs, services, and procedures.
Help PCC® industry members and their organizations grow and develop professionally through focused educational programs.
Each of these local chapters plays an important role in creating a close working relationship between the USPS and its customers—including Mail Owners, Mail Service Providers, and more.
And wherever you are, you can find your local chapter here.
What Is PCC Week? What is PCC Day?
PCC Week is an annual celebration that creates opportunities to hear from postal and industry leaders at the local level about USPS business strategies and best practices in the mailing and shipping industry.
In turn, many regions connect on something called PCC Day. And Greater Illinois PCC’s event happens on September 25.
What Goes on at GIPCC PCC Day?
GIPCC PCC Day 2024 is your opportunity to connect with industry leaders, hear from USPS executives, and network with your peers. Basically, it’s an event that could be considered a mini-National Postal Forum—in a much more casual environment.
Hosted at the Ramada Inn by Wyndham Glendale Heights/Lombard, attendees will have a chance to have their voices heard. Here are just some of the things you can expect:
USPS Executive Keynote
Alongside the video presentation from the Postmaster General, attendees can expect to gain important insights from Mr. Robert Cintron, Vice President for Logistics, United States Postal Service. Details coming soon.
Video Remarks from Postmaster General Louis DeJoy
As the Delivering for America plan saunters on, attendees will have a chance to hear what’s progressing in the USPS’ initiative to modernize the Postal System and provide a better experience for postal customers over the next eight or so years.
Industry Thought Leadership & Roundtable
Though details are yet to be finalized, every year’s GIPCC features a look at how to get more from mailings from an industry thought leader.
Currently earmarked as a “Panel Discussion/Round Table On Postage, Paper, Promotions and other topics,” one can expect a deeper dive into the 2025 Promotions & Incentives Calendar, which is expected to be announced right around that time.
Breakfast, Door Prizes, Exhibition
Scheduled for a bright and early 7:30 AM, attendees will be fed both breakfast and brunch. Alongside this, they will have the opportunity to win a few exciting prizes and get all the fanciest swag from companies in the Exhibit Hall. And that’s where you can meet us—Sepire.
We’re thrilled for the opportunity to exhibit at the event and are ready to discuss all the latest in direct mail and omnichannel communications with attendees. Expect an appearance from National Account Director Jason Shudy, Director of Postal Affairs Leanne Herman, and a few special guests who would be thrilled to answer all your most pressing questions.
