Sepire Successfully Renews SOC 2 Type II Compliance Certification
Direct mail and omnichannel communications company receives security and privacy attestation from third party audit.
WILLOWBROOK, Ill.,—June 27, 2024—Sepire, a print services, secure communications and direct mail provider serving compliance-driven organizations has today announced its successful renewal of SOC 2 Type II certification in accordance with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards.
The System and Organizations Control (SOC) framework is used to assess an organization’s internal controls for security, confidentiality, processing integrity, privacy, and availability of customer data. A SOC 2 Type II audit is completed annually over an extended period to verify that said controls function as intended.
The attestation, provided by independent third-party auditor and Accounting Today Top 15 firm Moss Adams, verifies that Sepire’s infrastructure, software, people, data, and procedures function as intended to protect data and prevent unauthorized access.
One of Sepire’s many security certifications and compliance assertations, a SOC 2 Type II report is both a test of and testament to the company’s security posture. Successful completion verifies the company’s ability to securely handle sensitive information including personal health information, education records, and more.
